Abstract

We report the pupillary deviations after intraocular lens insertions in 300 eyes. 93,75% were in posterior chamber and 6,25% in anterior chamber. Postoperative treatment was made with short-Iasting mydriatics for a month. We had 26% of pupillary deviations. They were due to surgery iridectomy, synechiaes iris-Iens and iris-posterior capsule. We think that the main etiologies are the surgical iridectomy and the use of mydriatics.
