Resumo

oBJeCtive: to evaluate the effectiveness of programs based on Mindfulness for pain management and the psychiatric clinic associated on patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia. MetHoDS: a research was done searching on different databases: WoS (Web of Science), Pubmed and Scopus. articles related to mindfulness, fibromyalgia and chronic pain were researched. the temporary search pattern is from its beginning until november 2018. reSUltS: 61 articles were identified: 10 meta-analyses, 3 systematic reviews, 22 studies and 26 articles related to the non-psychopharmacological treatment of the disease or Mindfulness applied to other clinical studies. ConClUSion: in general, most studies show promising data on pain, anxiety and quality of life measurements. However, the existence of a larger number of randomized, protocolized studies with a larger and more homogeneous sample are necessary to achieve greater scientific evidence.
