Abstract

The skin aging, is a physiological process characterized by appearance of wrinkles, skin more fine and dry that sometimes aggravated by the loss or reduction of the hyaluronic acid, loss of elasticity and skin fragility exaggerated, hematomas, etc; what is known as dermatoporosis or chronic insufficiency of the skin. It affects 1 out of every 3 people from the age of 60 years and its incidence increases with age. The lesions usually appear on areas exposed to the sun, some spontaneously and others by small accidents due to the fragility of the skin; in addition the healing process is usually longer in time. The main treatment alternative is prevention, through health education in good hygienic habits and dietary, with special attention to the photoprotection, although it has also shown improvement with topical treatments based on Hyaluronic acid native not fragmented. In the article describes the most common dermatological lesions and how to treat them, in order to improve the quality of life of affected patients.
