Sustainable development goals

Abstract

Objective: Knowing the views and expectations of the students of Degree in Nursing about the specialty of Family and Community Nursing. Method: Descriptive study through a questionnaire on the perception of 158 specialty nursing degree students who had attended a briefing on it. Results: A sample of 158 students of which 60.8% reported that the session makes you want to know more about the specialty of Family and Community Nursing to better target your job opportunities were studied. 93.1% of students think that the specialty of Family and Community Nursing meets your expectations generated, ranking second in the order of preference among all nursing specialties existing, behind the specialty of Obstetric-Gynecologic. Conclusions: The specialty of Family and Community Nursing is valued by students very positively. Appearance of vital importance to further promote these sessions as a regular activity within the course of Community Nursing to instill the need for specialization in offering a high quality care in the field of primary care.
