Resumo
Our intention, with this work, is to approach the daily routine of family doctor, by explaining them in a very easy way the basic principles of the phoniatric alterations, precisely in aphasias, whose most frequent cause is due to the cerebrovascular accidents. The history of aphasiology is described to enable us a better comprehension of the matter, and we detail the different methods of evaluation of aphasia nowadays.
