Abstract
Objective: to develop the Nursing care process applied to a person with decompensated HF to treatment with Levosimendan®. Methods: it is a descriptive study based on the Virginia Henderson model and following the NANDA taxonomy. The main nursing diagnosis and outcome criteria were determined after the initial evaluation of the patient, and the corresponding activities were applied in the framework of a continuous evaluation of the situation through its specific indicators. The patient's lifestyle is monitored through the Nola Pender questionnaire. Results: the patient improved by 32.94% in the goals scored. In addition, it obtained an increase of 26 points in the questionnaire on the lifestyle to the discharge with respect to the income. Conclusions: the patient leaves the hospital with a significant improvement of his initial health problems, as well as with a series of recommendations at discharge in order to prevent future complications.
