Abstract
A new therapeutic approach is presented for the cases of conjunctival intraepithelial carcinoma which show an extensive corneal and conjunctival involvement. We pro pose the use of 5- Fluorouracll. either topically or combined with subconjuntival administration, given on an alternate weekly schedule. With this treatment a reduction of the adverse effects of the drug is achieved, while it keeps its high therapeutical effectiveness.
