Abstract

This presentation pretends to show the work on Psychosocial Rehabilitation that we are carry on in Galicia; both, from a historical and actual perspective. We suggest a new framework in the treatment of people with severe mental disorder that allows a higher degree of recovering, expanding the old approach based on control of symptoms. As well as we express our disappointment, we propose some questions and issues with regard to recover hope and optimism for professionals working in that field.
