Abstract
Nursing has a major responsibility in caring for people's lives and health, therefore, should prioritize research to build the foundations for good practice. Main goal Analyze the type of scientific research since 2010 until 2013, also classify those who really involve the use of Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN).The total study population (188), are all of them EOG work by students of Degree in Nursing, at the POVISA University Nursing School, & kept on file at the School. Results The 28.7% of EOG work were qualitative, 52.1% quantitative & 7.4% qualitative/quantitative. Also were a 8% of analytical, 72.3% descriptive & 8% analyticaldescriptive; also are included a 13.3% of prospective, 47.3% retrospective, 27.7% retrospectivecross & 13.3% are evidence-based nursing (EBN). Conclusions Predominant type of work: quantitative, descriptive & retrospective. Predominant areas of work: Management and Quality of Care & Surgery. The evidence-based nursing (EBN) is not a fundamental base of research in this school, which is a trend we must change in the future.
