Abstract

Historically, the therapeutic approach to psychosis has been scarce. Nowadays, psychological interventions have demonstrated their efficacy. In the present text, we conducted a bibliographical review on the concept of therapeutic alliance and its application in psychosis. We highlight the relevance of the role of Clinical Psychology in the intervention in severe mental disorders and we give keys for the correct establishment of the therapeutic alliance.
