Resumo

The text presents a 15-year-old research study that initiated the paradigm for standardizing regulated arthroscopic exploration of the knee, exposing the first article that evaluates the accuracy of knee MRI in diagnosing posterior root tears of the lateral meniscus. It also evaluates the importance this had within the field of sports traumatology, the significance of diagnosing these injuries, and the scientific quality of the work.
