Abstract
Objective: Evaluation of patients´satisfaction with the rapid diagnosis and treatment programme for lung cancer. Methods: Prospective cohort study where all the patients studied in the rapid diagnosis and treatment programme for lung cancer were included between no-vember 1st, 2016 and october 31th, 2017, diagnosed with neoplasia. To find out the satisfaction data collection was carried out using a questionnaire administered to user during their last visit at the rapid programme for lung cancer. Results: We studied 566 patients with malignancy suspicion, with the final diagnosis of neoplasia in 127 (84.7%) and with metastatic disease in 29 (15.3%). 158 participated in our study. The satisfaction was high ("excellent" and "very good") in 85.4% of the patients. Conclusions: The results obtained show a high rate of patient satisfaction with the care received and this is an indicator of the quality of the process
