The prevalence of varicose ulcers in adult patients was 0.07%.Conclusion: The use of compression therapy should be increased in patients with ulcers of venous etiology, and it is also necessary to increase the specific training of the health professionals involved, to achieve greater technical skill that allows increasing patient safety and adherence.
